A group of 22 distinguished academics from across the globe were honored as AACSB鈥檚 2024 Influential Leaders at ICAM, the global business association鈥檚 international conference and annual meeting April 15-17 in Atlanta, GA.

Each Influential Leader was nominated by their school for their research work that demonstrates new knowledge creation, timely solutions, and positive impacts in both business practice and society. Support for the 2024 Influential Leaders initiative is provided by Risepoint (formerly 裸聊视频), an AACSB Business Education Alliance member.

Joe Lynch, SVP, Business Development, Risepoint, introduced the Influential Leaders panel session at ICAM, saying in part, 鈥淚t鈥檚 no exaggeration to say that business schools are often the bellwether of the collegiate brand. It might even be said, 鈥楢s the business school goes, so goes the university.鈥欌

He added that Risepoint shares in the ideals of AACSB and its members in its work with university partners and their students across North America and internationally, supporting their online programs. Three Risepoint university partners 鈥 two from the U.S. and one from Canada 鈥 are among the influential leaders recognized:

  • Alexander Glosenbert, Associate Professor of Management, College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA. Glosenbert was recognized for adapting and applying the Personal Initiative (PI) approach to entrepreneurial training to new contexts and populations, including marginalized groups in the United States, in South Korea, and across Africa.
  • Kathleen Sutcliffe, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor, Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. Sutcliffe鈥檚 research examined how members of organizations sense and respond to unexpected demands bringing about positive changes particularly in healthcare by investigating important questions about organizational design and their impact on patient safety.
  • Kate Ruff, Associate Professor, Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Ruff鈥檚 research into impact measurement is transforming the impact investment practice with a solution to balance investors鈥 needs for portfolio-level aggregations with their investees鈥 need for flexibility and customization.

The group of 2024 honorees included academic leaders from the U.S., Canada, UK, Mexico, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, the Netherlands, India, and Japan.
